This too is a vegetarian cook book.  More than half of India is vegetarian so it is not surprising that that this and the above cook books are vegetarian.  Chandra gives an excellent introduction to South Indian She has many Sambhar recipes, rice recipes and dessert recipes which are wonderful and easy to make - again simple ingredients are cooked up into sublime tastes. The recipes are authentic South Indian recipes simple and well laid out. The pictures in themselves are a gastronomical treat and make me want to beam myself into a South Indian celebration in India.
